New Child Care Center at SUNY Farmingdale

Hirani was part of the team selected to provide civil engineering and structural design services for the construction of a new14,000 SF child day care facility at Farmingdale State University’s Melville, Long Island Campus. The Civil Engineering Services included the demolition of the existing outdated day care facility and the design of the associated site improvements including utility services, grading and drainage, roadway, curbs, sidewalk, fencing and service area. In addition, Hirani prepared a complete Stormwater Management Plan including an Erosion & Sediment Control Plan. The site design also included age-appropriate outdoor play and exercise areas.

The Structural Design Services included the layout and design of the steel framing for the building and the reinforced concrete footings and foundation.
