NYC Build It Back

NYCDDC Build It Back

Hirani provided Structural Design, Geotechnical Investigations and Land Surveying services for residential structures that were determined to be substantially damaged by Superstorm Sandy, and subsequently deemed eligible for the New York City Build it Back (NYCBIB) and Residential Community Renewal programs. Some of these houses were required to be elevated due to the amount of damage, and required a large amount of improvements to bring the homes back to a habitable, code-compliant condition. Hirani provided engineering design services for approximately 180 properties, obtained 60 DOB approvals, performed 175 lot surveys and nearly 20 geotechnical investigations.
